Christmas season 2017

Enjoying a relaxed family Christmas. Just had a lovely walk through The Grove, Carshalton. The Ponds and river were full of birds of all descriptions, including two pairs of swans, Canada Geese, Egyption Geese, a variety of ducks and gulls and the inevitable pigeons. Families were out in force, enjoying the winter sunshine and showing off new bikes, scooters and remote control cars, no doubt they were gifts from Santa. 

I have managed to do some painting recently, in spite of the scurry of Christmas preparations and gatherings for drinks and meals with friends. I hope to have more time for painting in the new year, before the garden shows signs of needing attention.
